New Year's Eve Celebration: A video of my art!

The new year is coming and with that, I find it's time to reflect on what's happened so far and look toward the future optimistically. I've only had this blog running for a couple of months, but it features art that even goes back a few years. I wanted to assemble a video celebrating what I've done so far. Now, here it is.

You will find a mix of drawings from both of my art blogs in this video. I know I definitely want to do something like this again. there is still much more to come. More art and more surprises.

I look forward to what I will be doing in the future as well. All artists improve with time, so I wonder what I'll improve on this year. I'll just keep going with my "The best is yet to come" philosophy on life and see where it takes me. It helps to fondly remember the good parts of the past, but it also helps to remember that now is the only time you can make your choices. So please, live now, not in the past. Remember the past, live now, and anticipate what's to come.

Peace and Love

Pony Girl Twilight

So I found out there were two G1 ponies named Twilight. One a unicorn and one a pegasus. No wonder I drew a pegasus the first time. Anyway, here's the unicorn Twilight as a pony girl.

A scepter weilding faery.

Oh yeah. I'm definitely not tired of faeries. Granted, I can't think of what to name all of the faeries I create, nor a good title for the picture. Here's a beautiful faery with a scepter.

Yet another faery!

Tired of faeries yet? Me niether. So that explains why this guy is here.

Hidden Faery

There's a faery hiding in this picture. Can you find her?

A Sweet Pony Girl Gathering

This was meant to fill a request for my friend, jbjnklkjnbhk from Youtube. It's a gathering of pony girls that was meant to feature Ribbon, Baby Ember, and Twilight. however, I ended up drawing a pegasus instead of a unicorn mistakenly, so Twilight ended up being Hearthrob instead. I'll try doing one of her later, since I completely forgot what type of pony she was. I hope this one is satisfactory.

Happy holidays jbjnklkjnbhk! please enjoy.

Epic Trap Faery!

Since I've decided to add male faeries to help create some sort of gender balance, I've wondered how I should portray them. This one in particular is rather feminine. To me that works because I like drawing feminine characters. I think most of the male faeries I've drawn so far have maintained a certain degree of femininity because of this. For this one in particular, I went all out. He could very well be a most epic trap if he wanted to.

Another faery with a crystal ball

I don't know how ,but these faeries keep finding crystal balls. I wonder what they use them for? I'm wondering what this little fellow thinks he's doing. LOL

Pony Girl Sundance

A pony girl version of G1 pony, Sundance. In the pic she's holding an amulet of some sort. Just a random thing I put in the picture because I thought it sounded like a good idea.

Please enjoy.

Pony Girl Wind Whistler

You didn't think I'd post more stuff without a new pony girl did you? It's now at thge point where I've created a special folder in my art scans specifically for pony girls. In a lot of ways, I think that's good. It means more pony girls are on the way because I can't stop drawing them.

Anyway, Here's G1 pegasus pony, Wind Whistler.

Please enjoy.

More Faeries!

These are both previously posted faeries. You may recognize the sketch as the faery at the top of this page. The inked picture is the two faeries holding a crystal ball. Both were originally published on my other blog.

Enjoy.

Female and Male Faery

I decided to ink some older sketches and see how they turned out. These are the results.

The first being a female faery as usually expected from me. One of my favorite subjects for drawing. although lately, my favorite subject for drawing has been pony girls. This is pretty much a classic staple of my art.

The second will come as quite a surprise. It's a male faery. I do get the question of "Where are the male faeries?" quite often. I also get the question of "Where are the male characters in your art?" or "Why not draw both genders nude?" The answer to that is that I usually don't have much interest in male characters. However, I understand there must be some sort of balance and perhaps a way to make those characters interesting too. I think this fellow has the potential to be an interesting character. Maybe I should create a name and back story for him and put him into a story. A really awesome story about faeries. So here is the first step in establishing some equality in my art for those who have been waiting for it.

Pony Girl Bowtie

Another favorite G1 pony re-imagined as a pony girl. Here's Bowtie. Please enjoy.

I'm beginning to think I should change this blog to The Pony Girls of J3llyb3ans. Since that's what I feel like drawing most lately.

Pony Girl Fizzy

I can't believe I went this long without doing a pony girl based on a G1 pony. Well no worries, because here's one and one of my favorite ponies (unicorn), Fizzy. Here she is wading in some water and conjuring up some bubbles. A classic MLP pony girl. Enjoy.

Pony Girl Rainbow Dash

After finally getting my scanner working, I can finally post this one. Yet another My Little pony inspired Pony Girl, This time it's Rainbow Dash.

As for my announcement I put up yesterday, I took it down. I think that should be a given. My whole purpose of creating art is to create something beautiful and inspiring. I realize that I needn't put into words what the pictures themselves express.

Please enjoy Rainbow Dash as a Pony Girl.

Pony Girl Toola

This week, I was inspired by a couple videos I found on youtube featuring My Little Pony anthros. These were wonderful videos featuring wonderful songs and art. What it inspired me to do was try my hand at anthropomorphic ponies.

the first My Little pony that I chose to draw a humanoid interpretation of was Toola Roola. For obvious reasons. She's an artist too, of course.

Please enjoy the first in a series of pony girls.

Finally Complete

Here are two pictures that I had started almost a year ago and decided to finish now. I was going through some old sketchbooks and noticed the potential of these pictures. So today I finished them.

The first is a faery feeding a bird. I'm not sure what kind of seeds they are. Some kind of seeds birds love, I'm sure.

The second is a cute girl flashing her cutie. I guess it's more like the wind catching her skirt.

Janelle

Janelle is a very special character to me. She was meant to be the main character in several of my longest stories. She is an artist as well and very enthusiastic about nude art.

Here she is modeling by a water fountain in her garden. Yeah, she loves gardening too. One variation of her story involves her running a vegetarian restaurant prepared with food from her garden. It is also in this restaurant she displays her art as decoration. It's a very cool place.

Prehistoric Princess

A sketch from early last year. The unclothed heroine of our story rides a Styracosaurus across a land very similar to late cretaceous North America, as two albertosaurus prowl in the distance. how's that for far out?

Yeah, this pic is pure fantasy. Human beings and dinosaurs were separated by millions of years. Still, it's fun to imagine.

The faery from my other blog

This is the faery illustration I put up as my first post in my other art blog. One of my first inked illustrations.

Intro

Welcome to The Art of J3llyb3ans II. This will be my second art gallery blog focusing on nude and semi-nude illustrations. I created a separate gallery for these due to the nature of my last blog and the websites that I promote it on. This is my gallery for mature viewers. I have quite a bit of work to put up, so please enjoy.
